Choosing the right representation
Before starting perhaps you want to look at
different ways to represent the
dynamical system:
x = y
y = y*y+x+y
and also at
the escape time and
the global representation for 12 dynamical systems.
A dynamical system may be represented
- as an attractor:then the image depends on the starting point.
- as
escape time set. This is unique in a viewing window. But for most attractors is
the same.
- with the
global representation
explained elsewhere.This is the best choice since it is
unique in the viewing window,identifies in a unique way the dynamical
system and is meaningful at any size.
