Breeding of formulas with a genetic algorithm
The dynamical system in the center is in the data base, but the other four
have been found by breeding its formula with a random formula in the data
base. In this case the breeding was done just, by applying the formulas
one after the other;but it is possible to breed the formulas in more complex
ways. What you see in the corners are the best images (from a "artistic" point
of view) taken out of a few hundred examined. This method allows in principle,
for each dynamical system the creation of at least other 50,000 dynamical systems.
