The images of figure 2 aren't all fractal in the mathematical meaning
of the term but they are surely interesting for the artist and form
a kind of palette that can be used to generate even more interesting
images.
The formulas discovered can be imported in a program with some image
processing capabilities and here you can try to zoom,to change colors,
to resize or to pan the image. You can also try to modify the constants
present in the original formula to get something better. As an example
I show in figure 5 the result of zooming in a zone of figure 4 and of
changing its colors.
