TAC results
The t-test analysis indicates that the difference reaches a statistically significant shift (p < 0.05) toward positive attitude in 6 items(out of 30).
Table 2 shows that all the traits show a shift (toward positive values) which reach a statistical significance(p < 0.05) in Enjoyment,Anxiety,Efficacy and Technical value.
The pre-test and post-test total scores differed by an amount which reached the highly significant value of p < 0.002.
Some general remarks on TCE results
- only about 5% declares that has not understood the "general philosophy" of Internet (Question 1),while more than 80% has appreciated its usefulness in practical application( Question 2) and about 40% would like to teach to others what learned (Question 5).
- reading(writing) Web documents was considered difficult by about 15% (18%) as it resulted from answers to question 4(Question 8).
- there is an almost general agreement (Question 6) on the fact that the time dedicated to this activity was limited.
- the students were in strong disagreement in considering the partecipation to the minicourse a "waste of time" (Question 7) and what learned not relevant to their future profession(Question 11).
- For about 60% of the sample the writing of hypertext could help for a better understanding of the topics.
